PETERBOROUGH star Chris Harris thankfully avoided serious injury in his crash during the Premiership Pairs at Belle Vue on Thursday.
Harris suffered a frightening spill on the very last bend of the semi-final when the Crendon Panthers were facing Ipswich.
After examination on track and in the medical room, he was advised to visit hospital and did so on his return to Coventry.
Those checks came back all clear, with no broken bones or bruises, and no head injury.
All at the club are very relieved that Bomber escaped unscathed from the incident.
Ironically the Panthers have since been demoted to fourth place in the meeting by an SCB ruling which states it should have been Wolverhampton, and not Peterborough, in the semi-final in the first place.
Three clubs tied on 20 points and Panthers won the ballot to go through, but it has now been decreed that Wolves should have progressed on the basis of having a greater number of '4-5' race results - after the teams were tied on 7-2, 6-3, and 5-4s!
