PETERBOROUGH have suffered a second injury blow ahead of tonight’s (Thursday) Premiership trip to Ipswich.
Already without skipper Scott Nicholls after his crash at the East of England Arena on Monday, the Crendon Panthers must now travel to Foxhall without Michael Palm Toft.
The Danish star won his first two rides for Plymouth in their Championship match at Poole on Wednesday but then clashed with Richard Lawson in his third outing and was withdrawn with a shoulder injury.
Panthers switch the rider-replacement facility to No.1 tonight, meaning all team members can take an additional outing, whilst Birmingham’s Justin Sedgmen will now guest for Nicholls at No.2.
Sedgmen made his return to British racing with the Brummies last month and has performed well in the Championship, top-scoring with ten points in their home win over Redcar on Wednesday.
