CHARLES Wright reckons it is time for Peterborough to stop thinking like underdogs ahead of hosting much-changed Swindon tonight (Thursday, 7.30).
The Crendon Panthers came back from 10 down to go within two of thwarting the Robins on their own patch early last month.
Adam Ellis and Troy Batchelor are the only Swindon riders from that night to line up at the Showground this time.
However, Peterborough have made tweaks of their own with Scott Nicholls and Josh Bates drafted in with Wright adamant that should alter the outlook.
“I think we were missing another heat leader and bringing in Scotty (Nicholls), who had been on form for Wolverhampton, did the team the world of good,” said Wright.
“The team has racers all the way through and showed that by winning at Poole.
“We have shocked a few but that should not be the case, we are good enough to win anywhere and I am pleased with how things are coming along.”
Skipper Hans Andersen returns for the Panthers but Bradley Wilson-Dean is injured with Ricky Wells booked to cover.
David Bellego, re-signed by Swindon this week, makes his first appearance of the campaign for the visitors. Paul Starke guests for Zach Wajtknecht at reserve.
The fixture marks the start of a busy few days at the East of England Arena as the club prepares to stage the prestigious Championship Fours on Sunday (2pm).
