PETERBOROUGH look to build on Monday’s win over rivals King’s Lynn when they head to Ipswich on Thursday (7.30).
Rob Lyon’s men gave a rock solid all-round team performance at the Showground and head into the trip to Foxhall in a buoyant mood.
Ipswich are without three key riders in Jason Crump, Jordan Stewart and Cameron Heeps and after a flying start to the season are facing an injury crisis.
Crendon Panthers skipper Scott Nicholls said: “We go to Ipswich and look for similar form to what we showed on Monday.
“It was a great night and a fine performance from all the boys. I was pleased to stay unbeaten because I’ve not had a lot of speed around Peterborough at times but everything fell into place for me.
“Ipswich is a track I know well and with all our experience we have all, apart from Jordan Palin, gone well around there at one time or another.
“It would be a massive result for us if we could go there and get a result.”
Panthers are back at the Showground on Monday when they face Wolverhampton in a mouthwatering prospect with more Premiership points on the line.
Tickets are on sale now with fans urged to get along and get behind the side against a powerhouse West Midlands outfit.
