PETERBOROUGH Speedway are urging individuals and businesses to join the party next month.
The city club celebrate their 50th anniversary with a grand opening meeting of the season on Sunday March 15 (2pm).
It will include 16 riders – including all the 2020 Crendon Panthers – over 20 races plus a grand final.
Danny King, Ty Proctor, Richard Lawson and Paul Starke are the latest names to be added to the line-up following ex-Panthers Emil Grondal, Charles Wright and Simon Lambert.
The club can also confirm a variety of sponsorship options for people to make their mark on a special occasion at the East of England Arena. Co-promoter Carl Jonson said: “We have a combination of club legends and fans’ favourites vying to take home the spoils. Past and present Panthers is the name of the game.
“I’m very happy with the line up so far and it looks to be a very competitive meeting with obviously plenty of showground track knowledge.
“I’m looking to put on a meeting that will entertain from Heat 1 to heat 21, with fans unsure who to support over the days racing.
“We want to create one of the best individual meetings the supporters have seen for many years and I feel with the field we have we can certainly provide that.”
Individual rider sponsorship is to be £300 per rider and £200 for the two reserves. This will include a signed race jacket presented at the end of the meeting, a signed photograph, parade walk out with your rider, name in the programme next to the rider and podium presentation if you are lucky enough to sponsor a rider in the final.
Heat sponsorship is £100 per heat, company logo or your name alongside the heat of your choice on the racecard.
