PETERBOROUGH have made another popular signing with Bradley Wilson-Dean fully fit and raring to go.
Charismatic Wilson-Dean joins Michael Palm Toft in the 2020 Panthers side looking to bounce back from an injury-plagued first season back in the top flight.
It’s a good start to team building with more names expected to be revealed soon.
“It’s great for me to be back with Peterborough,” said Wilson-Dean.
“Last season didn’t end the way I wanted it to end on the injury list. I think everyone in the team at some point was injured which wasn’t great for anyone at the club.
“We just couldn’t get any sort of run going which in the end cost us big time.”
Wilson-Dean is relishing the prospect of returning to the Showground – a track he enjoys. He said: “It’s a place I enjoy riding and the management have always been good with me.
“This was an easy decision to make when they first approached me about returning.
“I feel as though there is some unfinished business from me. I don’t feel as though I did enough at times last season in terms of points scoring or performances.
“Getting injured just about summed the season up really. The injury then dragged on and various trips to the hospital ended with no proper results so I returned home to New Zealand to get yet another verdict on the shoulder from my local doctor.”
Wilson-Dean has been back in action and has reported no ill effects from the treatment.
“I’ve got some catching up to do with Peterborough,” he said. “I’m looking forward to the new season with them.”
