CHAMP MAKING PLANS FOR CARDIFF

Tuesday August 06, 2019
PETERBOROUGH’S new British Champion Charles Wright is already making plans for next month’s FIM British Speedway Grand Prix at Cardiff.

Wright will race as the wildcard at the Principality Stadium event on Saturday September 21 (5pm) – and plenty of Crendon Panthers fans are expected to make the trip to South Wales.

Now he’s launched a scheme where companies or individuals can show their support by having their identity on his bespoke race suit and / or bike covers for the event.

His one-off race suit will be available at auction after the meeting with proceeds going to the Speedway Riders’ Benevolent Fund.

Said Wright: “"This really is a unique opportunity for companies to come on board for this special meeting as I look to compete against the world's best riders on what will be an emotional night for British Speedway.

"I already have the support of a couple of companies since my win in Manchester and I really would appreciate the help of other companies should they be interested in getting involved."

Anyone interested can email Charles for further details at charleswrightracing26@gmail.com and everyone at Peterborough Speedway wishes him well.

He’ll next be in action at the East of England Arena on Thursday September 5 when Panthers face Belle Vue.
